How I Work
You’ve worked hard to build a reputation for thoughtful, deeply personal work and flawless execution. The last thing you need is content from someone who’s never spent a day in your world.
If you’re thinking about outsourcing your content, here’s what working together would look like — from the moment you sign on through the end of your first month.
Before we start: Onboarding + strategy
We spend the first one to two weeks getting a clear picture of your business and what you’re building toward, so every piece of content has a clear purpose and works hard for you. By the time the writing starts, you can confidently hand things off and feel good about it.
First, I’ll send you a brief onboarding questionnaire to complete at your own pace. It covers logistics like:
Your website and Instagram
Your CMS platform
Your publishing preferences
Any content you want to do more or less of
Any questions you want to make sure we go over during the kickoff call
Then we’ll meet for a 30-minute kickoff call. This is where we get into the things that need a real conversation, including:
Your business and marketing goals
Who your ideal couples are
What kinds of weddings you want to do more of
How you want couples to feel when they read your content
After the call, I get to work on the research and strategy.
I’ll do a content audit of what you’ve already published, conduct a competitor review, and get to work on your blog post topic bank, keyword research, and Instagram hashtag research. By the end of this phase, we’ll have a content plan approved by you and ready to go for our first month.
Every month: How a blog post gets made
Once we’re up and running, here’s what the process looks like for each blog post.
We start by selecting a topic from your approved topic list. I’ll put together a brief content outline for you to review — this gives you full visibility into the direction of the post and the flexibility to make changes before any writing begins. Once you approve the outline, I write the full draft.
Turnaround from outline approval to final draft is seven to 10 business days, with two rounds of revisions included at no extra charge.
Once the final draft is approved, I handle SEO, website formatting, and publishing, along with pulling image suggestions from your gallery to confirm before the post goes live.
For the Instagram promotion post, you’ll choose the photo — since your Instagram is a curated space — and I’ll write the caption and hashtags to match. Captions include two rounds of revisions as well. From there, you can post it yourself or hand it off to me to publish.
Every month: Instagram content support (Growth and Full Support plans)
At the start of each month, we’ll map out your content mix — the themes and types of posts we’ll cover — for Instagram. You choose the photos from your own gallery, and I’ll write the captions, include hashtags, and publish on your behalf if you’ve opted into that.
Like the blog posts, each caption includes two rounds of revisions to make sure each one feels right before it goes live.
End of the month: What you’ll receive
At the end of each month, here’s what you’ll receive under each plan:
Essentials: A brief email with links to everything published that month.
Growth: A monthly summary covering what was published, links to the content, and performance insights from your blog or Instagram (if analytics are available). I’ll also share any observations on what’s working and what to carry into the next month. This includes an optional check-in call if you’d like to review these findings together.
Full Support: Everything in Growth, plus a short section with recommendations for the month ahead: content angles worth exploring, any identifiable patterns or trends, and suggestions for your additional monthly deliverable. Our monthly call is built into the process so we can review results and plan ahead together.
If you’re ready to hand off your content and get back to doing what you do best, let’s talk. Book your free discovery call today.
Frequently asked questions

That’s not a problem. Many planners don’t have the time to keep up with their content during the busy season, and a dormant blog is more common than you think.
If your blog has been inactive, the strategy and research phase gives us a clear picture of where you’re starting from and what kind of content will make the most impact when you relaunch. If you don’t have a blog yet, we’ll build the foundation together. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you reach out.

A general VA can help with a lot of things, but writing content is its own skill set. My background is in content marketing and copywriting, and everything I offer is built around one thing: helping planners create content that attracts the right couples and makes them feel confident they’ve found the right person.
I work exclusively with wedding planners, so I’m not splitting my time across florists, photographers, and caterers. When you work with me, your marketing doesn’t get passed off to a team. You get one person who knows your business, knows your voice, and is fully focused on your content every month.

Yes! Everything I do is remote, so how well we work together matters more than where you’re located. Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego are my primary markets, but I’m available to planners outside SoCal too.

All packages are month-to-month, so you’re not locked into a long-term commitment. If you want to switch tiers or cancel, a 30-day written notice is required before your next billing cycle.
Everything is outlined in our service agreement, so you’ll always know exactly where you stand.
